Traditional battle songs and electronic experiment

In the 4-part series De Spanjestrijders en ik (The Spanish Fighters and I), podcast maker Laura Lubbers connects the historical story of two Spanish fighters during the Spanish Civil War in the 1930s to questions about idealism and decisiveness that today's young people ask themselves. The series will be broadcast on NPO Radio 1 in the OVT program and can also be listened to as a podcast.

We took care of the recording and mixing of the title music played by Almudena Rubio (vocals) and Isabelle Laudenbach (guitar). Then we got to work with their material and made a number of sound scapes and short compositions that are used in the episodes. A nice combination of tradition and innovative experimentation!
