Echte Rotterdammers
The sound of a city
Echte Rotterdammers poses the question: What makes an inhabitant of Rotterdam a real ''Rotterdammer''? As an exposition held in the former warehouse Las Palmas, Echte Rotterdammers combines different forms of art, both old and contemporary, in all their forms.
Studio Analoog created this animation together with hundreds of scholars from Rotterdam. It is shown on the main screen of the exposition.
SonicPicnic created all the sound design, including a lot of recognisable sounds of the city of Rotterdam, that can be heard in everyday city life, telling the story of a lively and buzzing metropole.
